Message from our pastor

Rev. James P. Serowik
                Rev. James P. Serowik

Welcome to the website of
St. Vincent de Paul Blessed Sacrament Church in Vestal, N.Y.

MAY 7, 2020:  I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our St. Vincent De Paul Blessed Sacrament website. While we are currently unable to celebrate publicly as a parish family, we are still united together by the Holy Spirit during these unique and challenging times. We are called to unite ourselves with the early disciples as they prayed for the gift of the Holy Spirit. During these days of Easter, let us take some time to experience the Risen Christ’s loving presence in our lives. In the midst of a world that is filled with much activity and many obligations, this time of social distancing can teach us to slow ourselves down and to become more reflective and prayerful in our lives. Let us daily spend some time with the Lord Jesus, allowing Him to touch our hearts and lives, so that when we gather together again as His People, we may be a richer community because of the deeper experiences we all have had of God’s great love for us!

In God’s love,
Fr. Jim
