Rev. James P. Serowik
                Rev. James P. Serowik

Welcome to the website of
St. Vincent de Paul Blessed Sacrament Church in Vestal, N.Y.

June 19, 2020:  Hello Everyone,

I would like to welcome you to our St. Vincent de Paul Blessed Sacrament webpage. It is great to be able to share with you that we have resumed public Masses and are having Mass at 4 p.m. on Saturdays and 10 a.m. on Sundays. We also have daily Mass at 9 a.m. on Tuesday through Friday. To attend Mass, we ask that you call the parish office (722-3988) and register with your name and phone number. This is being done for your health and safety. We also ask that you wear a mask and bring hand sanitizer to Mass.

It is great for us to be able to gather together as a family and celebrate the Lord’s presence in our midst at the Eucharist. This is the most important thing that we do as a parish family. It is important for us to be able to journey together as we strive to build God’s Kingdom on earth. It is my hope that this website will introduce you to our parish family and that it will enable you to be an active member of our St. Vincent de Paul Blessed Sacrament Parish family.

In Christ,
Fr. Jim

St. Apuly clothing shed

+ An important message from St. Pauly Textile Inc. regarding our clothing donation shed: The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a massive toll on our business over the past few months. Our primary struggle has revolved, in large part, around the shutting down of international borders and the resulting inability to redistribute the majority of clothing that we collect. We’ve been storing millions of pounds of clothing in trailers for future distribution, while simultaneously relying on the government paycheck protection program, savings, loans, and depleted revenue to keep our operations up and running. Unfortunately, we’ve reached a point where this is no longer viable, and we have no other choice but to temporarily close down our sheds in order to keep our business stable. We plan on reopening your shed as soon as we possibly can. The timing depends on what happens across the world in the coming months.Accordingly, we are unable to accept any more clothing donations until further notice. Please do not leave any bags outside the shed or in the can & bottle shed. We have no where to store donations and will be forced to dispose of any items left. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
